Art By Roger Morgan

Roger Morgan was born in San Diego, CA and grew up in and around the San Francisco Bay Area. In the 1960s he obtained both his BA and MA in Painting from the University of California at Berkeley.

For over 45 years Roger’s love of nature has inspired him to capture the underlining beauty of the mountains and flowers around him.

Roger uses multi-media including oil, acrylic, watercolor, bronze and metal; collections of his work can be found throughout the U.S. and Australia.

With his acrylic paintings, Roger prepares the background of each painting by layering seven to ten coats of diluted acrylic paint, using a palette knife and brushes.

Roger currently resides in Berkeley, California with his wife of over 21 years. They are the proud parents of a blended family with 6 grown children and 9 grandchildren.
